DIY: Felt Votive

I just love soft ambient lighting, especially in the kitchen. It makes things so much cozier and warmer. This little votive was so simple to make. All you need is a mason jar that is large enough for your Christmas lights to fit inside, lights, felt, hot glue and scissors. Begin by cutting lots of circles from your felt. I used yellow with a few white circles because I wanted a warm yellow glow. Any color would be pretty to use. Glue the top layer first overlapping as you go. Once you finish the first row, begin overlapping the next row. Continue all the way to the bottom. Add you lights and plug it in. So easy! I hope this DIY will brighten your kitchen and your day!
